If you're looking for a sandwich or
something to take with you on a harbor cruise or on your walk through the Royal Botanic
Gardens then you can't go wrong buying it here. Everything is fresh and tasty, and there
are all sorts of goodies to choose from, including gourmet sandwiches and simple take-away
foods such as olives, Greek dishes, pasta, fruit salads, green salads, homemade rissoles,
meat, pies and the best English-style custard tarts around. The shop also carries a stock
of biscuits, tea, coffee, and other supplies. Plenty of tourists simply buy a couple of
fresh bread rolls and a piece of cheese from here, pick up a bottle of wine from the
bottle shop just around the corner, and then take off somewhere for a cheerful meal.
