restaurant, Reds is located in an 1828 bond store and warehouse. The light and airy dining
area has a beachy feel. Light jazz trickles over the lemon-and-tangerine carpets to a bar
area heaving with wooden beams. Contemporary starters include Sydney rock oysters and
scallops with angel-hair pasta, while you'll find char-grilled kangaroo strip loin with
sweet potato on the limited selection of main courses. Native herbs, nuts and berries, and
exotic dairy produce are also featured. The food is really great, and the chef has to be
highly commended, but last time I ate here for lunch, the service left much to be desired. |
