The best restaurant with the best
views in Darling Harbour, this adventuresome child of co-owners Neil Perry and chef Kylie
Kwong has taken off big-time. Upstairs, the main dining room is light and spacious with
glass walls opening up across the water. The essence up here Chinese with a twist, and the
Sechuan duck and stir-fried spanner-crab omelet are always on the menu. Other dishes to go
for are whole steamed snapper with ginger and shallot, rock lobster, and mud crab.
Downstairs, the noodle bar is always happening, with tourists, locals, and business types
crunched up along the bar or around the tables, tucking into light meals such as beef
curry and stir-fried Shanghai noodles with spicy chicken.
