Right on Australia's most famous golden sands, this art-deco boutique property offers Mediterranean-influenced rooms with a beachy decor. Standard doubles are spacious, quite basic, and don't have air-conditioning--though you hardly need it with the ocean breeze. The one-bedroom suite is good for families, with two sofa beds in the living room. The split-level one-bedroom room has a bedroom upstairs and a single sofa bed in the living area. Rooms 5 and 6 and the split-level suite have the best views of the ocean. All rooms have Juliet balconies, and the split-level suite has its own terrace. If you're a light sleeper, request a room on the top floor because the popular Ravesi's Restaurant can cook up quite a bit of noise on busy nights.
