The Marriott is finely positioned right opposite Hyde Park in the city center. It's a short walk from the major shopping areas around Town Hall, and a hop, skip, and a jump from the beginning of fashionable Oxford Street, with its nightlife and burgeoning restaurant scene. The rooms are typical four-star variety, but include such extras as plates, cutlery, toasters, and microwaves; one-third of the rooms also have hot plates. The views from the park-facing rooms are fabulous. All rooms have impressive triangular bathtubs. Many Frommer's readers have recommended the Marriott.

Dining/Entertainment: Windows on the Park offers à la carte meals with nice views over Hyde Park. There's also a coffee shop and a cocktail bar.
