This is one of the best backpacker hostels that dot the area between Darlinghurst Road and Victoria Street in Kings Cross. The good thing about this place is that it has two sister properties right nearby, so you are almost certain to get a room. The 18 dorm rooms in this property have only two sets of bunk beds in each, which means things don't get too crowded--and couples traveling together will often find they get the room to themselves. There are also plenty of twin and double rooms to go around, as well as two female-only dorms. The atmosphere is young and typical backpacker, with cheap meals (all under A$5/U.S.$3.50) served in the ground floor cafe. There's a guest kitchen, two TV rooms, a laundry, an ironing room, bag storage, free Foxtel movies, 24-hour Internet access, and a 24-hour travel agency. Each room is spotless and comes with a security locker.
