The Australian Wildlife
Park
Inside Wonderland Sydney there is a very special park of wild Australia where you can meet
the unique, beautiful and sometimes dangerous creatures of the Australian Bush.
The Australian Wildlife Park has over 500
animals and birds in their natural surroundings. As you walk through the park you will
discover many difference species of kangaroo and wallabies. You can feed and touch them in our special kangaroo
'walkabout'. Enjoy a fascinating walk amongst treetops on the elevated Koala Valley or
have you photo taken with a cuddly Koala. Wander through the rainforest aviary and see our
colourful parrots and other Australian birds.
See wombats in their burrows and goannas in
desert surroundings. Encounter a diverse range of creatures of the night in our Nocturnal
HouseMake sure you go to the daily interesting talks, including Rapt in Reptiles, Goanna

Sydney Aquarium
At Sydney Aquarium you will embark on a journey
that will allow you to experience the enormous diversity of Australian environments and the aquatic life that these
environments support.
The
variety will astound you - from the cold Southern Oceans to the tropical waters of the
Great Barrier Reef, from rocky shores and estuaries to the slow-moving rivers meandering
through the dry, flat plains of the interiors. Nowhere
else in the world will you find a larger collection of Australian aquatic life - over 650
species.
Sydney Entertainment Centre
Primarily recognised as a
venue to host concerts, family shows and sporting events, the Centre also specialises in corporate events and
entertaining, in particular product launches, conventions, exhibitions, banquets and
seminars.The Entertainment Centre can cater for up to 1,000 people in banquet mode on the
arena floor and has hosted numerous major events in recent years; the most prestigious
being the Victor Chang Dinner attended by the late Princess Diana in October 1996. The
Centre was recently voted as one of the Top 10 Event Venues by the National Business
Bulletin for 1998.
In its 16year history, the
Centre has hosted nearly 2,700 events which have been attended by more than 16 million
people. Famous for its flexibility, the venue can provide seating capacities for an
intimate setting of 500 people up to a maximum of almost 12,000.
Located in the centre of
Haymarket, adjacent to Darling Harbour and a 10 minute walk to the heart of the central
business district, the Sydney Entertainment Centre offers patrons a fully-equipped venue
including function rooms, the availability of fine dining packages, together with snack
food and beverage outlets.The arenas versatility and Sydneys dynamic appeal
have assisted the Centre to attract some of the biggest national and international
artists, performers and events since its opening. Some of the performances and events held
over the past 18 months indicate this exceptional depth; Cliff Richard, Mariah Carey,
Riverdance, Savage Garden, The Seekers, Bob Dylan, Status Quo, Van Halen, Shania Twain,
Shirley Bassey, Deep Purple, Sydney Champions Seniors Tour tennis, Pearl Jam, Grease - The
Arena Spectacular, Snowboarding, Disney on Ice, Michael Crawford, Janet Jackson, The Main
Event, Anthony Robbins, Cold Chisel, Swan Lake, Neil Diamond and the Beach Boys.
Sega World
Sega World is Sydneys ultimate electronic theme park featuring
classic theme park rides, state of the art attractions and over 100 free to play arcade
games.Sega World is conveniently located on the city side of Darling Harbour under the
blue cone. Only 5 minutes walk from Town Hall station or hop on route 888 bus.
An exciting new attraction due to
open February 2001 is currently under development in the Sega World complex. To minimise
disturbance during construction, Sega World will now be closed on Monday and Tuesday
